I’m back with the last episode in my fireteams series of Infinity Skills and Equipment. In this episode I cover a few of the various tactics that you can use to combat fireteams. If you have any great strategies please comment and add to the discussion. You can find the first two episodes of the series here and here.
This format is different than what I’ve previously done. I am going to be adding a progression of my work throughout until it becomes one long post with all the steps from start to finish.
I have moved onto painting the dismounted model and rider. I have also decided to do these a little different than I was previously doing. I took a few more pictures along the way and I will explain what I was working on. You will see more pictures and more explanation of what I was doing along the way. You can find the finished bike here.
The Free Lance Stringer is the HVT that comes in the Dire Foes pack 6. She’s a very sleek looking miniature and will be a blast to paint. Here’s her just as a primed miniature. This post contains everything from part one so I will skip the link back to it. As I did with my recent Yojimbo post I am combining all of my posts together from now on so that when I finally finish It will be one long post that goes from start to finish on the Miniature.
I’ve been doing a bit of work on Neko Oyama lately. I forgot to take a before picture when I just had him primed, but I will go over the steps I’ve done so far. Before this point I did a base coat of the blue and added a few highlight and lowlight shades and a wash to make the angles and ridges stand out. I then added white on all the ridges to make them stand out.
This week I am reviewing both the watch tower and the transport shelter. They can both be found over at the Battle Kiwi Website here. These products are designed and produced over at Battle Kiwi. They are a New Zealand based terrain company. The watch tower is pictured below. Click to read the rest of my review of these two awesome terrain pieces.
Over the weekend my local Vancouver WA crew drove north to Tacoma WA to Terracrux games. This shop is new to infinity so we went to support them. We brought 7 people to their tournament. The locals were pretty new to the game. We also had a good turn out from the Seattle crew. There was even a Vancouver Canada guy that showed up. In all we had 24 players in the 3 round ITS tournament. We brought 7 tables total to help out, but only ended up using 3 of them. The Seattle guys also brought some tables down.
