This week I am on part 2 of the Domaru Butai Review. You can find part 1 here. On this review I will go over a few lists and some good synergies with other soldiers.
As promised I’ve got my next episode of painted miniatures live featuring the Domaru Butai that I just finished. It was an awesome project working on these guys and they are finally finished. I was working on five of them at the same time. I purchased the Domaru Butai box and I also painted the old sculpt that comes with the starter pack for the JSA. I love how they turned out. Check out the Domaru family in the following video.
At long last I finished my Domaru Butai. It was a bit of a journey with some color changes last minute, but I really like how they finally ended up. I had gone one direction with their helmets, but decided I wanted more contrast later and made a drastic change. I finished all five of the Domaru that I own. I will make a video soon of the whole Domaru Family. Check out my other videos on my YouTube channel.
I made some drastic changes. I think I like them, but I’m not sold yet. After a conversation with George from Fate and Fury Games I decided to make their helmets stand out a bit more by doing the rising sun theme. I think it looks good, but I’m not really confident. Let me know what you think. Be sure to check out my rewards page over on Patreon.

I’m back with more progress on my Domaru Butai. This time around I finally started on their weapons and hilts. I also added more layers of red to the knee pads. I also did a few red highlights on their backs.
This was a busy week for me. I had a game on Thursday a tournament on Saturday and yet somehow I managed to get a little painting in on a few of my miniatures. The slideshow below shows my current progress on the Domaru Butai. The changes I made were the first coat of Red on a few spots and I did some white highlights on the tips of the helmet and shoulder and knee pads in a few spots.
I’m back with Episode 2 on my YouTube channel. In this video I focus on skills and equipment. In it I cover the warning skill and E/M grenades. As a side note I did forget to mention one thing about E/M damage. It is even stronger against remotes and TAGs than it is against infantry troopers because in addition to becoming isolated it also forces them to enter the immobilized 2 state requiring an engineer to fix them back to normal. So remotes and tags generate their own order, but cannot use it because they are stuck in place. The only thing they are allowed to do is declare discover.
