Haqqislam

“HAQQISLAM: (from the Arabic Haqq Islam, New or True Islam) Religious doctrine derived from Islamism, and its associated Neomuslim culture. A modern interpretation of the set of dogmas and precepts of the Quran that permeates the everyday lives of its followers. Founded by Farhad Khadivar in the late 21st century, the Haqqislamic movement proposed a philosophical and theological revisionism of the classical Islam, in order to adapt it to the society of its time. Haqqislam proclaims Humanism, the Search for Knowledge, and a set of Metaphysical axioms influenced by Sufi scholars, as the foundations of its doctrine, while simultaneously rejecting religious hierarchies and Sunnah, ‘tradition’, as dogma. Their doctrine is profoundly concerned with political and social issues, and the culture built around it has rekindled the scientific and artistic heirloom of the golden age of Islam.”

Ghulam – These are your basic line troops for the Haqqislam. They are cheap, but fairly resiliant. There are many load-outs available.

Nafatun – The flame thrower is a deadly weapon and when used well is capable of destroying opponents. Grenades are not to be ignored either. This unit can spec throw a grenade and avoid an ARO directly back at her.

Jannisary – I believe this is the intended Lieutenant of the starter pack. He is a solid unit capable of dishing out solid damage. Solid ARM and BTS with 2 wounds. He is capable of running up the field and putting heavy pressure on the enemy.

Hunzakut – This troop has Camoflauge and when you deploy him he enters the game as a camo marker. The mines are a great asset. Bringing him in near an objective drop a mine and spend another order to re-enter camo is a solid tactic with him.

I will not let you play Haqqislam Vanilla or Bahram without owning this box. You can’t do it and I wont let you. It is perhaps one of the most bang for your buck units in the entire game. Yes they are weak and have no long range weapons, but they have smoke so strategic deployment of these guys in key to success. I’ve played countless games where this 5 point unit stole the show by isolating and wrecking house. On top of their solid weapon loadout they are dogged. I’ve played some awesome games where a dogged troop ran into two mines and shot and killed another in his dying breath. He was mostly clearing the path for the rest of my team, but its a sacrifice that cost me only 5 points and he’d gone dogged already.

This soldier comes with TO:Camoflauge and inflitration. You can deploy him as a marker or in hidden deployment popping him onto the table to surprise your opponent with a troop he was not expecting. The assault hacker or doctor are perhaps the better load-outs of the troop, but he is a solid addition to any army.

This guy is as close you can get to a TAG without being a TAG. Both load-outs are solid and have great uses. I prefer the HMG one because it come with smoke grenade launcher. The fact that he has sixth sense makes him a deadly threat to approach. It is limited to his zone of control, but he is a troop you want to bring up the field and and get into good range against your enemies.
